Once you have expressed an interest in using New Leash of Life services, Jordan will arrange an initial meet and greet with you (free of charge) to discuss: requirements, preferences, your dog's background and any behaviour/training considerations.
You will also be given the opportunity to ask any questions - it is important that you are reassured that we are professional and qualified.
Following on from the initial consultation and completion of new client paper work, Jordan will arrange an individual introductory walk (charged at individual walk price). This will entail Jordan collecting your pup, lone travel in the vehicle and a one hour walk before dropping your pup back home. At least the first walk is always carried out on lead, only once I feel there is engagement and recall has been proven using a long line, will your dog be fully let off the lead on walks (if this permission has been given).
Following on from a successful initial consultation and introductory walk, Jordan will arrange bookings on either an ongoing regular basis or ad hoc as required.
Of note, New Leash of Life cannot guarantee that all dogs will be accepted to join the group packs. It is important that both you and us feel confident we can provide a healthy and confident walking environment for your pup and others they meet.
Once you have expressed an interest in our pet sitting service and confirmed availability, Jordan (and Scarlett if also planned to come along on the sit) will come to your home for a free of charge meet and greet. This gives a chance for the animals to meet us whilst in the comfort of their home with familiar humans around. During this time routines, expectations and boundaries will be discussed and agreed.
You will also be provided with new client forms for completion before the start of the sit.
To secure a pet sit service, a 50% deposit is required to secure the dates and will be refunded if more than 7 days cancellation notice is given.
