Jordan – Founder, Dog Walker & Groomer

My passion for animals began early, spending most of my teenage years at a local horse riding school and caring for dogs at every opportunity. After a rewarding 10+ year career in the NHS, I made the decision in 2023 to follow that passion and build a career focused on animal care, wellbeing, and the outdoors.

I founded New Leash of Life to provide a professional, compassionate service centred on each dog’s individual needs — combining exercise, enrichment, and a calm, positive approach. I’m particularly interested in consent-based, fear-free handling to ensure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy in my care.

Hello, I'm Scarlett and I am 9 years old. I prefer cats over dogs, but I do have some favourite pooches in the pack and I love my bedtime cuddles with our Gypsy! I also have a Russian Dwarf hamster called Coco Bean.

Meet the Van

Our 73-plate, medium wheelbase Vauxhall Vivaro is purposefully adapted to provide safe, comfortable transport for every dog in our care.

It is fully equipped with 1 extra-large, 2 large, and 2 medium secure crates, as well as additional open space for dogs who prefer not to travel confined. An electric ventilation system and constant interior lighting ensure a calm, well-ventilated environment at all times.

The vehicle is leased to guarantee reliability, with full breakdown cover, routine servicing, MOTs, and maintenance all included. This ensures uninterrupted service, so your dog’s care is never affected by vehicle downtime.
